We are on a mission to provide grassroots smallholder leaders and communities with a common global voice and platform.
Building an independent, global network that fosters direct dialogue, promotes actionable insights, and shares practical solutions across regions.
Our Vision
Our vision focuses on building an independent, global community that fosters direct dialogue with and among smallholder communities.
Promoting actionable insights, integrated solutions, and the exchange of best practices across regions.
Advancing the social, economic, and environmental resilience of smallholder farming communities.
Driving innovation, market creation and improved market access.
Centered on community- AND market driven strategies and initiatives.

Moving forward, we are looking to implement:
Multi-language blogs, podcasts, and video channels dedicated to smallholder farming, targeting global and regional audiences.
A matrix of regional chapters and topic-specific workgroups.
A universal framework and approach — the STRONG FARMERS Body of Knowledge & Curriculum — representing the holistic reality of smallholder farming and smallholder communities.
Co-created with active participation of the most relevant stakeholders.
A global, multi-language online academy to facilitate capacity building and training, including leveraging immersive formats and technologies.

We strive for a holistic, community-driven approach that effectively addresses the social, economic, and environmental challenges faced by smallholder farmers, concentrated on three key enablers:

Enhancing local processing and production capabilities to generate employment, boost income, and create commercially viable products for local and international markets.

Creating tailored professional development and capacity-building programs in partnership with local communities, focusing on innovative agricultural practices to diversify income.

Launching community-based programs in collaboration with local innovators to tackle key challenges and promote development in health and education.
